Development and integration of multidisciplinary detailed engineering to increase zinc production by 100,000 t/year through new direct-leaching, purification, and electrowinning facilities, including the buildings, auxiliary services, and modifications required for integration into the existing plant.

• Production increase: 100,000 t/year of zinc ingot.
• Total capacity after expansion: 340,000 t/year.
• New purification line capacity: 120,000 t/year — 150 m³/h.
• Electrowinning plant: 80 cells arranged in two lines of 40 cells.
• Design configuration: 112 cathodes per cell.
• Main electrical system: two 30 MVA, 120 kA each.
