Scope
Development of multidisciplinary basic and detailed engineering to modernize the Pb–Cu flotation circuit at the Charcas Mining Unit by replacing conventional cells with tank cells. The project included a new steel tower outside the existing building, flotation cells and auxiliary equipment, pumping and process-air systems, reagent handling, piping and interconnections with the existing plant, electrical power supply, instrumentation and control, and the required civil, structural, architectural, geotechnical, and drainage works.

- Circuit capacity: 5,200 t/d.
- Modernization: replacement of 19 conventional cells with 8 tank cells.
